Fears Grow for Missing American

Reward shall be given upon his safe return

Fears are growing for an American cyclist who has gone missing in the South of France.

Lance Armstrong, 38, was last seen on a bike ride with friends through France on Sunday 11 July when he fell over 13 minutes behind, and has since not been able to catch up.

One of his companions on the ride, Alberto Contador, spoke of his admiration of the once great rider, saying “He really had a lot of bad luck, but still you don’t like to see a champion end up like that. I admire Armstrong, but maybe even more now than before.”
